Deerpark Cottage removed from the list of historic buildings in December 1997.


Griffiths, D. M., 02/07/1984, Deerpark Cottage (Personal Comment). SDV74429.

Marked as Deerbank Cottage on 1973 Ordnance Survey map. There is a low (?2 metres) stone wall visible in the back yard, parallel to the main house. This is the remains of a building shown on the Tithe Map (Field No. 276 House & Court, part of Buteels). Probably an outbuilding.

Deerpark Cottage. 17th/early 18th century. Rendered cob or rubble walls. Slate roof. Gable ends. Two storeys. Large end stack. Later wings from L-shaped plan. Some modern windows.
