Des=griffiths, d. M. /as above + worksheet.
Griffiths, D., 1983, ?Quay (Worksheet). SDV13596.
Vis=28/6/1984 (griffiths). The field is crossed by a number of ridges running nne/ssw. Width approx 3.6m, with "furrows" or ditches between 1.8m wide and 10cms below the ridges. Possibly ridge and furrow, but possibly created for tree planting. There are, and were at the time of the tithe map, plantations adjacent. On line of barnstaple bypass.
