Mile Stone, cast iron Grade II listed (11 miles to Plymouth).
Ordnance Survey, 1906, 125NE (Cartographic). SDV160600.
'Milepost' indicated on OS 6" (1906) but not on OS 6" (1966).
Jenkinson, T., 2005 - 2011, B3416/B3212/B3344/Old A38 Exeter to Plymouth (Report - Survey). SDV322256.
Site visit 18th September 2003. Cast iron mile post erected circa 1820 on the south side of Exeter Road. The inscription in raised black letters on a white background reads '11/Miles/to/Plymo/11/Miles/from Plymo'.
English Heritage, 2011, National Heritage List for England (National Heritage List for England). SDV347072.
Milestone immediately north-east of Torr Hill (House). 19th century. Cast iron. Triangular in section with semi-pyramidal top like an obelisk. Situated against wall with 11 miles to Plymo (Plymouth) and 11 miles from Plymo on either face. Date listed 2nd February 1984.
