There is little basis for removal of this substantial early 19th century villa from the statutory list. It is a handsome and imposing stuccoed villa set in a substantial garden which remains relatively unspoilt. The principal elevations retain their original double hung boxed sash windows and much of the stuccoed plaster detail remains, including a distinguished porch.
