Summary

Water conduit, dated 1519 on recut stone, and rebuilt in the 19th century. Roughly square in plan with battered walls tapering to embattled parapet, south side contains a blocked niche for the tap.

Conduit (opposite no 7 and at corner of College Way), Ridge Hill. 1840, probably restoration date of earlier conduit, carved stone tablet with coast of arms.

Water conduit dated 1519 on recut stone and rebuilt in the 19th century; it was apparently dated 1840 according to the previous list description. Local stone rubble with sandstone dressings. Roughly square in plan with battered walls tapering to embattled parapet (`renovated' with concrete in the 1980s). North side is particularly tall since it is built up from the lower level of College Way. South side contains a blocked niche for the tap. East side has a plaque carved with the civic seal and the date 1519 (it was recut in the 1980s).
