Large, late 18th century house with 19th and 20th century alterations, later a hotel and now flats. Three storeys with attics, symmetrical five window front with paired sash windows either side of central doorway and two canted splay bays either side at first floor.

South Town No 14 (Manor House Hotel). C18, altered, 3 storey and attics, 5 flush frame sash windows at 2nd floor, now with centre glazing bars only, stucco, lined and painted. Ogee bracket eaves cornice. 2 canted splay bays and centre window at 1st floor, glazing bars intact. Central 6-panel door with engaged columns and fluted frieze to case. 2 pairs of (coupled) sash windows at ground floor with a glazing bars.

Large house which was later a hotel and now flats. Late 18th century, with various 19th and 20th century modernisations. Stone rubble with stucco front; brick end stacks with plastered chimneyshafts; slate roof. Plan: Double-depth, 2 rooms wide, with central entrance hall. Exterior: 3 storeys with attics; symmetrical 5 window front, with stucco lightly blocked out as ashlar. Central doorway up 4 stone steps contains original 6-panel door (now part-glazed) with stucco Tuscan doorcase, engaged columns to the entablature. Either side paired 12-pane sashes. Plat band at first-floor level. First floor has late 19th/early 20th century windows; central horned sash without glazing bars flanked by large canted bays containing similar sash windows with panelled bases and hipped roofs. Second floor has 5 small horned 4-pane sashes. Good modillion eaves cornice. Parapet reduced for 3 large 20th century dormer windows (more to rear). Gable-ended roof. Interior not inspected but noted as having 19th century joinery and cornicing.
