Full description

Department of Environment, 1973, Great Torrington, 19 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV2214.

135 and 137 Mill Street in Great Torrington including the iron railings and garden wall to north-west. Probably 18th century, altered. Two-storey plaster cottages. Later sash windows. Formerly with thatch. One re-built brick chimney. Garden approach at front rises above road level with simple iron railing. Twelve foot high stone garden wall continues line of road frontage. Nos 129 to 137 (odd) form a group.
