The projecting wing - the west 'aisle' and porch - are later additions. Recent alterations to the interior have exposed a horizontal gravestone within the porch area, sealed beneath the floorboards and dated 1838. The porch/door wall also plainly butt-joins the front wall of the original 1832 core.
