Full description

Department of Environment, 1974, Ottery St Mary UD, 3 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV102862.

Farmhouse nearly opposite to, but north of the inn in Alfington Road. 18th or early 19th century, 2 storey, stucco, slate roof with wide eaves on shaped brackets and extended at gable with bargeboards. 5 sash windows, flank pilasters with sunk panels. Porch with slender Tuscan columns. Arched fanlight with interlaced bars. Forecourt surrounded with 6 foot high brick wall with sweaps and brick piers and rounded at central entrance with scroll iron gates, segmental terra cotta cope.
