Full description
Department of Environment, 1972, Kingsbridge, 26 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV141018.
Probably early to mid 19th century, three storey, stucco lined and painted, four windows, sash, and three-light window on round corner. Rusticated quoins, eaves entablature, slate roof. Upper floor windows with glazing bars. Rather plain return face, to Bridge Street. In very important position at entrance to town. Anchor Hotel, Nos 7 to 51 (odd) and Evangelical Church form a group. Also the Anchor Hotel forms a group with Ship and Plough Inn, The Promenade.
