Full description

Department of Environment, 1972, Kingsbridge, 40 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV141018.

Eighteenth century, altered, three storey, rendered and lined, rusticated quoins, painted, enriched wood eaves cornice, three windows at upper floors, sash with centre glazing bars only; canted side windows are splayed bays. Slate roof, hipped one side. Sash window, ground floor, right, with glazing bars remaining, centre six-panel door, conservatory in front of window, left. Leighton House, Conservative Club, Nos 1 to 4 (consecutive) South Place, Pindar Lodge, Nos 1 and 2 Victoria Place form a group in important position.

The group note appearing againt the entry for Leighton House, Conservative Club, Nos 1 to 4 (consec) South Place, and Pindar Lodge, The Promenade, should be amended to read 'Leighton House, Conservative Club, Nos 1 to 4 (consec) South Place, Pindar Lodge, Victoria Place (Nos 1-8) form a group in important position'.
