Summary

Vis=1/2/1985 (weddell). Recent flooding had exposed a small patch of what appeared to be paving shelving down to an old bend of the river (oxbow lake). This is only tentatively postulated as a ford. The presumed line of a roman agger is just to the west (sy29ne/34/4).
