No 16, Fore Street. Early to mid 18th century, three storey, good brickwork with burnt headers, segmental heads and keystones to four sash windows with glazing bars, at upper floors. Altered cornice and parapet. Modern shop. Way through under right.

Shop with accommodation over. Probably late 18th century with 20th century alterations. Flemish bond red brick with blue brick headers; roof concealed behind parapet; right end stack with brick shaft.
Exterior: three storeys, four-bay front. Ground floor has 20th century shop front with windows canted in to central doorway. Carriageway to right-hand. Windows have segmental arched heads, rubbed brick arches and keyblocks and have been reglazed since 1972 when they were described as being sash windows with glazing bars. Moulded brick cornice and parapet are 20th century. Interior not inspected but may retain features of interest.
