Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England, 1985, Aerial Photograph Project (Dartmoor) - Dartmoor Pre-NMP (Cartographic). SDV319854.

Enclosure covering 0.2hectares in area containing at least one hut circle. A linear feature is attached to its southern wall. Two other linear features seem to be associated: 1. SX67726826: a length of bank that is not quite attached to the enclosure, 2. SX67826825: a length of bank, again, not attached to the enclosure, but incorporating a hut circle.

Butler, J., 1993, Dartmoor Atlas of Antiquities: Volume Four - The South-East, 167, Map 58, figure 58.4 (Monograph). SDV337765.

Enclosure 'B' at 'Snowdon Brook North' is roughly rectangular. A curved bank runs out from the perimeter towards Snowdon Brook to the south and northwards some stray banks, including what seems to be part of a circular Enclosure 'C', may have continued to the River Mardle. A single Hut Circle '2' is included in the circuit with another (Hut Circle '3') to the north joined by a short bank.

Gerrard, S., 2004, List of Sites Remaining to be Considered for Designation on Dartmoor (Un-published). SDV345444.

This site was considered for designation as a Scheduled Ancient Monument during the Monument Protection Programme. The programme ended before the entire list of sites was successfully scheduled so this is included on a local list of Nationally Important Sites.
