Enclosure 'D' at 'Knackersmill Gulf' is an incomplete feature with a long gap on the south side which must have been dismantled when Enclosure 'C' to the south was in use.

An incomplete approximately circular enclosure on the moderately sloping west bank of the River Erme opposite Hook Lake. The southern segment of the 0.14 hectare enclosure is not visible. It may remain beneath the turf or was robbed for the construction of other nearby structures. The perimeter bank comprises turf-covered stone spread up to 3 metres wide and up to 0.4 metres high. There are no hut circles associated with this feature.

Field Investigation on 11th August 1977. Enclosure at SX 63736511 of 50 metres east to west by at least 35 metres transversely has small boulder walling 1.5 metres wide and 0.3 metres high. It is in very poor condition, and is incomplete.
