Line of trial pits extending from SX 6159 6832 to SX 6132 6845 visible on the aerial image (1946) with a short branch extending to SX 6133 6835.

(22/08/2001) SX 61076809 to SX 61506837. A SW to NE oriented line of tin pits marking the site of a lodeback working on the NW flank of Great Gnats Head. The pits vary in size from around 2m in diameter to nearly 6m and several have been combined to form small opencast workings.
Smaller clusters of pits following similarly oriented deposits are centred at SX 61336750 and SX 61816827.
