Summary

A rectangular earthwork platform on Welstor Common, measuring 11 metres by 12 metres. It may have been the base for a timber or other form of temporary building, probably associated with the rifle range sited here in the late 19th century or after 1860, or possibly the golf course recorded here in 1910. Condition is declining due to burrowing animals.
