Two sections of bank circa 3m wide and 7 and 9m long are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1980, extending in total for 20m across the south-eastern edge of Headon Down. The visible earthworks do not correspond with any boundaries depicted on the 19th century maps available to the survey but could be interpreted as relict field boundaries, perhaps of medieval to post-medieval date. They might be outlying elements of relict piecemeal enclosure field systems visible circa 100m to the south (MDV25252).
The banks remain visible as subtle earthworks on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017.
