A possible mound or broad bank circa 5m wide and 12m long is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1946 on the floor of the Tory Brook combe.
The function of the banks is unknown. It has been previously recorded as a possible pillow mound and although shorter than typical it falls within the known size range of such features and might have been used in this role from the medieval period to 18th century.
The visible feature does not correspond with any earthwork depicted on the 19th or early 20th century maps available to the survey. It is possible that it passed out of used prior to circa 1880.
The earthwork is not identifiable on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017 and has probably been levelled.
