Summary

Fifty five flints were found during field walking on fields named as Well Close, Great Close and Square Close on the 19th century Tithe Map and Apportionment. The flints included nine cores, fourteen false starts, four flakes with retouch, fifteen flakes, eight chips, one possible awl orborer, one flake with fine retouch on end, one curved flake with retouch on concave edge, one scraper and one microlith.

Vis=10/3/1983 (meade). Walked by four people for one and a half hours. Total of fifty five flints found including nine cores, fourteen false starts, four flakes with retouch, fifteen flakes, eight chips, one ?awl/borer, one flake with fine retouch on end, one curved flake with retouch on concave edge, one scraper and one microlith (h. Meade).
