Two curvilinear banks, circa 3m wide and northwest to southeast aligned, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The earthworks do not correspond with any curvilinear features in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, or on later available historic maps. The southern of the earthworks does, however, correspond with a curvilinear feature recorded during the pre-NMP Dartmoor aerial survey of 1985. The earthworks are interpreted as possible relict field boundaries or lynchets of medieval or post-medieval date, or else are possibly associated with the gutters of a catch meadow irrigation system (MDV127033) recorded to the immediate west.
