Pitleigh Quarry, marked and depicted on late-19th century mapping, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. It has since been impacted by road building, and appears to have been roughly levelled with an uneven ground surface visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. It has not been transcribed because it is accurately depicted on the historic maps.
