Summary

One of three drains depicted on the Ordnance Survey 6 inch historic map (1951 edition), and centred at SX 60017412, SX 60127412 and SX 60017396, are contour-following channels on a steep southern slope. They convey water from sewage settling tanks at SX 59737422 to the Blackbrook and were probably dug for this purpose.
