Name:Drainage ditch south of Muddilake Brook

Summary

A ditch with an earthen upcast bank on its lower side now extends from a roadside ditch to the edge of a broad and shallow silted valley. It follows a somewhat sinuous course across and down a gentle slope which has been cleared of stone and cultivated. It measures 1.2m wide and on average 0.4m deep. It is most probably a C19/20th drainage ditch and it is not a leat.

It follows a somewhat sinuous course across and down a gentle slope which has been cleared of stone and cultivated. It measures 1.2m wide and on average 0.4m deep.
