Summary

The curvilinear wall, a narrow drystone newtake wall of 1.6m maximum height, extends down and across a fairly steep N-facing slope from a wall junction on the crest to the river floodplain below. Probably of 19th century origin. There is no evidence to indicate that it formed part of or followed the course of, a reave. Of minor archaeological significance.

This wall extends to SX 62017380, and is met by the Venford Reave at SX 62357359.
