(04/07/1995) SX 60807035 to SX 60447014. A lodeback working ascends the moderate east-facing hillside, 800 metres southwest of Whiteworks Mine (Monument HOB UID 443444). The workings, oriented northeast to southwest, commence just above the Devonport leat as a series of shallow scoops but soon become a deep trench around 12 metres wide and 5 metres deep. Spoilheaps line the edge of the cutting and exaggerate its depth. At SX 60727028 opencast operations cease and the lode is followed over the crest of the hill by two lines of tin pits ending at SX 60607026 and SX 60447014.
Surveyed at 1:10000.
