(08/08/1988) This leat 0.8m wide, 0.3m deep, first visible at SX 61156989 and apparently runs E, skirting a low N facing hillside, to SX 61496991 where its course becomes indistinct. At SX 61336998 it is mutilated by a series of prospecting pits (MDV26010).
There is no provision for the leat in the S wall of Fox Tor Newtake, (SX 66 NW 65). It is presumed that the leat had been abandoned prior to the construction of the wall c.1807-1814 (citing Lease granted to David Gray, dated 1807 (DCRO)).
