Summary

Possible feature identified from aerial photographs lies on a fairly steep east slope and was visited in 1989. The hillside under moorland pasture with widely scattered earthfast boulders has been cleared of portable surface stone. At least two vague scoops lie in the indicated area but they are probably stone pits or water erosion hollows; there is no evident trace of a hut circle.

(13/03/1989) SX 63437233. The feature identified and plotted from APs lies on a fairly steep E slope at 326m OD. The hillside under moorland pasture with widely scattered earthfast boulders has been cleared of portable surface stone. At least two vague scoops lie in the indicated area but they are probably stone pits or water erosion hollows; there is no evident trace of a hut circle.
