(01/03/1989) SX 63267260 to SX 63547232. Evidence of intensive streamworking activity lies on both banks of a narrow tributary of the River Swincombe in a broad, heavily silted valley. Also a short length of deep openwork (centred at SX 63177254) occurs at its upper end. Deep gerts, turf-covered stream-washed gravel heaps and tinners channels are visible but no tinners buildings were identified. The workings are depicted on an early C19th map.
