Summary

The impressive remains of an extensive streamworking site occupy the valley and upper reaches of the Rue Lake stream. They extend from its junction with the West Dart River at SX 63307335 to sources of the stream at SX 62587320 and SX 62737295. Spoil-heaps, minor dams and deep diversion channels are everywhere visible indicating intensive tin streaming activity. Date uncertain.
