Summary

The dartmeet parallel reave system, one of the finest prehistoric field-systems in britain. On the western side, the most north-westerly reave is clearly marked crossing riddon ridge, and its southerly continuation passes to the east of outer huccaby ring (fleming).

Des=ancient monuments/(2000). Vis=est -/-/2000 (ancient monuments) two irregular aggregate field systems with associated settlements, part of a coaxial field system, boundary stones and historic fields on riddon ridge (am).

Reave extending through part of the field system SX67NE/150. Banks extend from it into this field system, to reave SX67NE/239 which it is parallel to it. This reave is not as distinct as reave SX67NE/239. Visible on NMR 1977 aerial at SX 6646 7653 and is just visible on 1946 RAF aerial image.

(17/03/1999) Part of the Dartmeet coaxial field system on Riddon Ridge. At SX66987607. This outlying part of the Dartmeet coaxial field system includes at least 12 fields, three of which are of the block variety.
