Unknown, 1843, Widecombe in the Moor (Cartographic). SDV290272.

Pillow mound/rabbit berry shown on Tithe map to the south of Roughbrook Field No 2193 called Lower Wester Park.

There is a lease dated 23rd April, 1613 concerning this pillow mound located on Spitchwick Common. William, Earl of Bath gives the lease to Richard Reynelt Esq and Walter Fursland of Bickington, in which they are given certain rights in connection with maintaining and keeping a warren.

Pillow mounds for rabbits were constructed around the head of the Rowbrook and along the east and south flanks of Vag Hill in the 17th century.

Pillow mounds and vermin traps south of Rowbrook Farm were considered for designation as Scheduled Ancient Monuments in 2004. Other details: Site 47.

Two pillow mounds near Logator rocks measuring 20 metres in length, 7 metres wide and 1.5 metres high. The pillow mound at SX 68337229 is aligned on a south-east slope. It is probably part of Vag Hill Warren. Other details: SX67SE90.
