Summary

The leats depicted by the Royal Commission aerial photograph survey transcription to the east of Doe Tor appear to be misinterpretations of footpaths and animal tracks. However, one substantial leat, MDV26930, did formerly flow through this area to feed the Wheal Jewell Reservoir.

The leats depicted by the Royal Commission on the Historic Monuments in England APU Transcription (1985) to the east of Doe Tor appear to be misinterpretations of footpaths and animal tracks. However, one substantial leat, SX 58 SW 78 (MDV26930), did formerly flow through this area to feed the Wheal Jewell Reservoir.
