Gozleford, birchill. C18 stone rubble house. Thatched roof with gabled ends. Two storeys.

Notification that Gozleford has been removed from the List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. The house has been dated to the early 19th century, later than originally thought. It has also undergone substantial alterations and extension in the late 20th and early 21st centuries which have diminished the historic integrity and architectural interest of the building, with the loss of original features such as the windows, staircase and roof structure.
The house was first listed at Grade II on 19th October 1984 (List entry number: 1333518).
