Loughwood, loughwood lane. Circa c17 or earlier stone rubble house. L-shaped on plan. Thatched roof with gabled ends. Two storeys (doe).

Loughwood Cottage has cruck beams. The core of the house may be at least three hundred years old. At one time it was the Pigsloose Inn and still marked as such on the older Ordnance Survey maps.
