Summary

Several areas of streamworking recorded in this area from aerial photographs in 1985 project. Field survey in 1988 recorded no streamworking; this is a patch of marsh in a flat valley bottom. Valley is heavily silted and it is almost certain that no stream working was carried out in this area.

Streamwork visible along a stream within a very marshy area. Visible on 1946 and 1977 aerial photographs.

(07/03/1988) The three areas depicted by 1985 project at SX 64167537, SX 64047531 and SX 64017515 are patches of marsh in a flat valley bottom. It is almost certain that no stream working was carried out in this heavily silted valley.
