Agglomerated enclosure appearing as a vegetation mark including a hut circle and comprising about five elements. It is not clear whether these are contemporary. Centred at SX63677536 a field system of about 3 hectares in area, is visible on aerial photographs as a group of 3 or 4 contiguous field plots and linear walls. It lies on a fairly steep south facing slope and is almost completely buried under a layer of peat and moorland turf. It is bisected by the Brimpts Mine leat. All that can be identified on the ground are a few linear parchmarks and a number of isolated earthfast boulders which indicate the line of the buried dwelling.

National Monuments Record, 2011, 884203 (National Monuments Record Database). SDV346615.

A large sub-circular enclosure at SX63597534 is probably the `hut' noted by the Royal Commission. It lies at the foot of a shallow dry valley and is partially levelled into the slope measuring 16 metres by 14 metres overall it has ragged turf-covered earth and stone walling about 2.8 metres wide and a maximum 0.5 metres high; it has been mutilated and disturbed perhaps by the leat cutters. Its size and situation ssuggest that it is probably not a hut, however, it may be an animal pound and is almost certainly of Prehistoric origin.
