Summary

The remains of intensive and fairly complex tin streamworking operations lie along both banks of the South Teign River on a steep valley floor. Identifiable remains include linear mounds of upcast, abandoned water by-pass channels, scarping of the lower part of the valley slopes and an excavated stream bed. No tinners buildings survive in this, upper, part of the river valley.
