Probable leat visible on RAF 1946 aerial image at SX 6305 9170.

Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 140747 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.

(19/06/1996) SX 6311 9205 to SX 6300 9150. This length of leat survives as a linear hollow with an associated bank leading north-south along the western slopes of Cosdon Hill to a series of reservoirs (MDV56864) which in turned served an eluvial streamwork (MDV27469). The leat appears to have collected surface water from the side of Cosdon Hill, since its altitude would have precluded it from tapping into any streams. For much of its length, the leat survives as a 0.8m wide and 0.3m wide hollow defined on the western downslope by a 1.5m wide and 0.3m bank of material upcast during its construction.

Bluesky International Ltd/Getmapping PLC, 2015-2017, 2015-2017 Aerial Photographs (Aerial Photograph). SDV361462.

Leat visible on aerial image, although the course is less clear at the south-western end where it approaches the streamwork.
