(20/01/2000) Centred SX 69388257. Tinworking remains in the Curlicombe valley. The valley floor, on either side of the stream, is occupied by approximately 0.6ha of streamworking remains consisting of narrow water channels and linear spoil heaps. The stream itself is augmented by water collection systems on the adjacent hillsides. A number of surface water collection leats are centred at SX 69158210, to the west of the working while, to the east, at SX 69908204 a reservoir is supplied by a number of similar features.
Immediately to the east of the reservoir are a number of tin pits and a shallow opencast working.
