Summary

A maintained cornditch comprised of a bank 2.5 to 3.2m wide with a revetted E face 1.2m high and a slight ditch 1.0m wide 0.2m deep. This feature forms the E boundary of Little Stannon Newtake, and was apparently erected between 1807 and 1814. Between SX 65568012 and SX 65848072 a further bank and ditch lie within and directly adjacent to the cornditch. They probably represent a 19th century attempt at tree planting.
