Summary

Turf covered earthworks, of lower gingaford farm, a tenanted farm as late as 1843 when it is recorded in the tithe map + apportionnat. It lies adjacent to the road from downstow to gingaford cross on the w side, and separated by a green lane from the better preserved ruin of gingaford farm (a long house).
