A ruined rectangular building 35 metres west of the River Erme set into the foot of a steep slope on the edge of an area of streamworks. A probable tinners' hut or lodge for which a post-medieval datemay be assumed, though possibly earlier. The walls are constructed from granite standing to a height of approximately 0.5 metres an, although the interior contains some rubble, they survive in good condition. Interior dimensions are 5.5 metres by 2.5 metres with an entrance in the south wall.
