The circular foundations (9) just outside the south-east corner are about 9 metres across could be the site of a hut circle but the wall slabs are not large and it may have been an auxillary pen.

Newman, P., 2018, Erme Valley Survey data (GIS and Excel spreadsheet) (Cartographic). SDV361913.

Hut circle shown on survey.

Newman, P., 2018, The Upper Erme Valley, Dartmoor National Park, Devon: An Archaeological Survey, Appendix 1, Figure 8 (Report - Survey). SDV362921.

A discrete hut circle 5.4 metres to the south-east of a prehistoric enclosure (MDV4247) on Harford Moor, 95 metres east of the River Erme. Although the remains stand low to the ground, and the walls are spread and turf covered, the internal wall face of the hut is visible for a good portion of the circuit and the internal diameter is 8.4 metres. Patches of the external face, also in place, suggest a wall thickness of 2.3 metres. The entrance opening is on the south-east of the arc, though no masonry is visible.

Ordnance Survey, 2019, MasterMap 2019 (Cartographic). SDV362729.

Hut circle shown on modern mapping.
