Summary

A segmented irregular ditch, visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken from 1942 onwards and on visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013, is one of a number of similar medieval or post-medieval tin working opencuts on Roborough Down.

It corresponds to a feature depicted on the late-19th century mapping and is one of a number of similar opencuts for tin working on Roborough Down probably dating to the late medieval or post-medieval period.
