A segmented irregular linear ditch, visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, is one of a number of similar opencuts for tin working on Roborough Down probably dating to the late medieval or post-medieval period.
