Interesting alabaster carvings were found embedded in a sadly mutilated state in the east wall of the transept. The medieval alabaster carvings recovered from st andrews church in south huish are now in the royal albert museum in exeter. Two panels come from a retable of the 'life of the virgin' while other fragments come from four or five panels of a 'passion'retable (allan).
