Chert hand-axe, large straight sided and pointed, of Acheulian type, from Gammon's Hill Quarry. The axe was deposited in Taunton Museum in 1950/51.

SY 277982. Chert hand-axe, large straight sided and pointed, of Acheulian type, from Gammon's Hill Quarry, Axminster. Deposited in Taunton Museum, 1950/51, by Mr H Bond. (1-2)
Gammon's Hill Quarry is at SY 27559808; it is now disused, and partly infilled. (3)
