Summary
Records go back to the 13th century of hill house, but it has been greatly altered in the late 17th and 18th centuries with modern additions. It is a two storey, stone rubble building with gable end tiled roof and a 1587 fireback in the living room. The interior shows a passage type house with the north part of the building forming hill cottage (doe).
