Summary

Two possible huts recorded in 1977, but have not been confirmed. The Ordnance Survey describe two vague and fragmentary circles of stones which may be the remains of huts (1977). Not seen in 2008 visit.

Turner, J., 1977, Possible huts in Raddick Plantation (Personal Comment). SDV251852.

(10/07/1977) At SX 5749 7015 and SX 5750 7016 in Burrator Forest are the remains of two possible hut circles.

(19/08/1977) These remains consist of two vague and fragmentary circles of stones which could be the remains of hut circles but are much too ruinous and scattered for any definite conclusion to be reached. (Not surveyed at 1:10 000).

(21/01/2008) These three possible hut circles were not identified because they lie in a fenced plantation of young conifer and deciduous trees with dense bramble. Not depicted by Butler.
